Jack Dupree was an American Blues pianist and singer who’s nickname; “Champion Jack” originated from his time as a professional boxer in the 1930’s. By the 1940’s he was a fully fledged recording artist. In the 1950’s he moved to Europe and played at various British Blues clubs during the 50’s and 60’s. He played with Eric Clapton and John Mayall. Since his death, there has been a rivival for Dupree’s music; particularly on the British vintage dance scene.
This is a great colorful poster and looks really nice framed up, plus it has that great old vintage look.
