Description
This is a reproduction of an original 1938 Art Shaw/Billie Holiday The Casino Concert Poster. It shows a beautifully rendered head and shoulders of Shaw. This poster was for the event that took place at Bemius Point, NY on July 7th. Although not mentioned on the poster; this show included Billie Holiday, who had joined as vocalist with Art Shaw’s Orchestra shortly before this show in 1938. Plus it has that great old vintage look.
This is a great looking poster and looks really nice framed up.
